Account controls
Delete your OptCure account
Patients, caregivers, and providers can request account deletion from the app or by contacting support. Some records may be retained where required for clinical, payment, tax, legal, safety, or audit obligations.
Step 1
From the patient app
Open Profile, choose Delete Account, and confirm the request. Active sessions are revoked and profile/contact details are anonymised where possible.
Step 2
From the provider app
Open Profile, use Account & data controls, and request deletion. Provider requests may enter a short compliance review when records, invoices, payouts, or care documentation must be retained.
Step 3
Without app access
Email support@optcure.com from the email or phone number associated with the account. Include whether the account is for a patient, caregiver, or provider.
Records that may be retained
- Clinical, booking, invoice, payment, safety, fraud-prevention, tax, legal, and audit records may be retained where required by law or legitimate compliance needs.
- Retained records are restricted and are not used to recreate a deleted user profile.
- Uploaded documents that are no longer required are deleted or anonymised according to OptCure retention procedures.
